We have a long and wonderful heritage that has been passed down over the past 125 years. We are humbled that God has used us for so long and still uses us today.

Our History:

The Swedish Baptist Church of Lake Sarah was organized on June 2, 1889. Over 125 years have passed since then and we have grown and changed over all those years. Swedish is no longer spoken, the building has changed from the first simple structure erected in 1891. In 2008 our previous building was no longer suitable for us, so we built an entirely new facility in which we currently reside. While we have faced so many changes over the years there is one thing that has not changed, and that's our love for God. We are still led by same Spirit, and the same faith in Jesus Christ that motivated us at our our inception still motivates us and unites our diverse group today.
